Ernest Cory has practiced law for more than 27 years. Currently, his practice is devoted to class actions, pharmaceutical, defective medical devices, and tax shelter litigation. Mr. Cory has been appointed to serve as class counsel, as lead counsel, and on the management committees in many class actions and in multidistrict litigation. He is AV‑rated by Martindale-Hubbell and recognized in the Top 100 Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Cory was also voted one of the Top 100 Attorneys in Birmingham in a peer‑review survey of Birmingham attorneys. He is the founding shareholder of Cory Watson, the first Alabama firm to establish a practice devoted to mass torts. The firm has recovered more than $1 billion for its clients.
