Profile

Since 1972, George Ford has acted as counsel for the defense in virtually every area of civil litigation, with emphasis on insurance litigation and coverage issues, governmental liability, and professional negligence. A summa cum laude graduate of Cumberland School of Law, he has served the Alabama State Bar in multiple capacities, including Vice President, Commissioner (four terms), chair of the Client Security Fund, and member of the Disciplinary Commission. He is a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and Alabama Law Institute and, in 2000, was elected a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
