Smith, et al., $50 million verdict in 2007 (product liability/wrongful death)--this was the 31st largest verdict in the U.S. that year according to VerdictSearch; Timmons v. Anesthesiology & Pain of Montgomery, $14.5 million verdict in 2003 (medical malpractice/wrongful death); Wilburn v. Luxaire, Inc., and Westinghouse, Inc., $61.5 million verdict in 1990 (wrongful death/product liability); Jahandafard v. Lomax Killough, $2.5 million verdict in 1989 (wrongful death); and Bazor v. Knollwood Hospital, $5 million verdict in 1989 (medical malpractice).  The following language is required by Alabama Rules of Professional Conduct: "These recoveries and testimonials are not an indication of future results.
