M. Clay Alspaugh is a litigation attorney with a focus on Personal Injury Plaintiff law. A graduate of Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in Birmingham, he was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 1971 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts of Alabama (Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts) and the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the Birmingham Bar Association (President, 1995‑1996), the Alabama State Bar, and the American Bar Association. He was president of the Birmingham Trial Lawyers Association (1977), the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association (1986‑1987), and the Birmingham Bar Foundation (1998‑1999).
