Zachary J. Peagler earned a B.A. from Auburn University and a J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law. Selected in 2011 by Birmingham magazine as one of the Top Attorneys in the area of criminal defense, Mr. Peagler focuses his practice on the representation of citizens accused of criminal wrongdoing in municipal, state, and federal courts. He represents clients in all phases of criminal prosecution, including pre-indictment, trial, and appeal. Within the practice of criminal defense, Mr. Peagler devotes a significant amount of time to the defense of those accused of DUI. He is an active member of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the National College for DUI Defense, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Alabama and Birmingham Bar Associations.
