“We provide the highest quality legal work available anywhere. We maintain the highest degree of ethics. We care about our clients, their families and their businesses.”
Thirteen years ago, the founders of Roshka DeWulf & Patten, PLC established seven founding principles—which include the three above—for their new firm. As big-firm veterans, they were determined to provide clients with the highest quality legal work available anywhere and to do so in a small-firm, service-oriented environment. Today, the firm handles complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, securities arbitrations, mediation and enforcement matters, broker-dealer regulation, and judicial and administrative proceedings for public and private companies and individuals.
CLIENT FOCUS
Roshka DeWulf & Patten emphasizes value for its clients. Roshka notes, “We provide high-quality services in a very client-focused, value-driven environment.”
The firm’s capabilities are recognized in the legal community. “We are proud of the fact that many of our referrals come from the local and national legal communities, including lawyers and law firms featured in this publication,” DeWulf says.
NICHE PRACTICES
With extensive experience in the prosecution and defense of claims that allege violations of federal and state securities laws, Roshka heads the securities dispute practice. He also defends clients under investigation or charged by government agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Securities Division of the Arizona Corporation Commission.
DeWulf handles trials, hearings and other business litigation matters in state and federal courts that involve contracts, business torts, trade secrets, real estate, securities, partnerships and intellectual property. As a result of his substantial experience in complex commercial litigation, clients also seek his expertise in business counseling.
Patten leads the practice in the areas of public utilities, energy, telecommunications and environmental law. He regularly appears before the Arizona Corporation Commission on behalf of electric utilities, water and wastewater utilities and telecommunications companies.
“As a result of my profile in Super Lawyers, both existing and prospective clients have contacted me. I have found it to be more effective marketing than Yellow Page advertising.”
