Andrew Abraham has been a shareholder with the firm of Burch & Cracchiolo since 1987. He concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate-related litigation including title insurance matters, and real estate transactions. He also has done substantial work in the area of franchisor/ franchisee relations. Mr. Abraham has served as lead counsel in numerous state and federal court trials. His recent experience includes: (A) Representation of a national insurance carrier in a federal court trial including claims of breach of contract, bad faith and punitive damages, (B) Representation of a franchisee in connection with franchise termination proceedings both before state administrative agencies and in the state superior court, (C) Representation of numerous lenders in connection with real estate loan negotiations and transactions, (D) Representation of landowners in connection with land use general plan amendments and rezoning involving large tracts of undeveloped land, (E) Representation of the ownership of a commercial office building in connection with negotiation and drafting of numerous office leases, (F) Representation of landlords and tenants in numerous litigation matters involving lease-related disputes, (G) Representation of title companies and insurers with respect to claims and coverage disputes and (H) Representation of professionals and business owners in partnership-type business disputes and buy-out transactions. Mr. Abraham is certified as a real estate specialist by the State Bar of Arizona. Prior to joining the firm in 1983, Mr. Abraham served for one year as law clerk to The Honorable Frank X. Gordon, Vice Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court, during 1982-1983.
