Charles J. Muchmore has broad and varied litigation experience that includes handling professional liability, personal injury, product liability, construction, insurance, and commercial litigation matters. The State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization has certified Mr. Muchmore in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation since 1991. Because of his courtroom experience, Mr. Muchmore was selected a member of the faculty of the Trial Academy of the International Association of Defense Counsel. He also has been a featured speaker on toxic tort matters at seminars sponsored by the IADC, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the State Bar of Arizona, the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and the Maricopa County Bar Association. He is lead author of the chapter on "Manager, Shareholder, Officer and Director Liability" in the Arizona Environmental Law Manual. He previously served as editor for toxic tort and insurance issues of the State Bar's environmental law newsletter and is past chair of a State Bar seminar on toxic tort litigation. Mr. Muchmore also is a frequent speaker on computerized case management and using computers to streamline the practice of law. Mr. Muchmore is committed to alternative dispute resolution. Due to his experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury litigation, he is frequently selected as a private mediator and arbitrator. Mr. Muchmore is a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates ,and the American Bar Association's Sections on Litigation and Tort & Insurance Practice. He is a member of the New Mexico Highlands University Foundation Board and a former member of the Board of Visitors of the University of Arizona College of Law. Mr. Muchmore also is a Founding and Sustaining Fellow of the Arizona Bar Foundation.
