As a founding member of Chester & Shein, P.C., David Shein brings more than 22 years of substantive legal and business experience to the representation of the firm’s clients. David focuses on the representation of established and emerging companies and financial institutions in all facets of real estate acquisition, development, financing and leasing, including asset based lending, development planning and entitlement, venture formation, due diligence, strategic business planning, capital acquisition and financing, complex contract and lease negotiations and mergers and acquisitions.  David's experience includes the acquisition, development, leasing, financing and/or sale of shopping centers, office buildings, multi-family projects, master planned communities and resort properties.  In addition to representing clients in connection with core real estate, real estate development and related finance and M&A activities, David handles a wide range of real estate related matters including commercial leasing, low income housing (Section 42) tax credit transactions and Section 1031 exchanges. David and his team closed more than $500,000,000 in real estate and real estate financing transactions in each of 2006, 2007 and 2008.
