Profile

Michael D. Kimerer, a founding partner of Kimerer & Derrick, P.C., has been a criminal defense practitioner for over 30 years and is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Arizona and California, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court. He is Certified as a criminal law specialist by the State Board of Arizona and is a Fellow of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers. His work has included the representation of corporate executives and defendants in high-profile murder cases. Mr. Kimerer is a past President of the State Bar of Arizona, the American Board of Criminal Lawyers, and Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice. He has been a speaker at numerous seminars on criminal law and was an Adjunct Professor of Law at Arizona State University.
