Cary Forrester has a diverse commercial law practice, in which he represents debtors, creditors, trustees, committees, and purchasers of troubled business assets. His practice includes bankruptcy liquidations and reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings, bankruptcy appeals, state-court litigation, and receiverships. He is also an experienced commercial mediator and a charter member of the bankruptcy mediation panel. His recent experience includes the successful reorganization of two multimillion-dollar companies, the out-of-court liquidation of two others, the successful completion of a multimillion-dollar receivership action, and settlements in eight mediations. He is a 1980 honors graduate of Harvard Law School and a 1985 graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
