Ann Kanter, a State Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law, has been practicing in the field of immigration law for more than 30 years. The firm specializes in obtaining visas for professionals, business owners, and families.  Ms. Kanter regularly advises employers on compliance with immigration laws and procedures for obtaining employee work authorization. A former Visiting Professor at UC Davis Law School, she was elected to the national governing board of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in 1992 and has been a frequent author for AILA publications.
