Profile

Ms. Sosna received her J.D. with a concentration on family law from UC Hastings School of Law and her B.A. from UC Berkeley. She is currently co-chairperson of the Family Law Section of the San Francisco Bar Association's Barristers Club. She was an associate at a well known San Francisco family law firm until recently opening her own firm, Van Voorhis & Sosna LLP.  She also interned with the San Francisco Superior Court Family Law Facilitator's Office and the Center for Families, Children, and the Courts, a division of the Administrative Office of the Courts. Her practice focuses on divorce or marital dissolution (including complex property allocation and division), child custody, parentage, child support and spousal support, arrears issues, mediation, domestic partnerships, prenuptial or premarital agreements.
