Four days after the Cosco Busan struck the Bay Bridge spilling 58,000 gallons of fuel into San Francisco Bay, Mr. Getz was retained to represent the third mate, the navigator of the vessel. Although 15 federal agencies are investigating the case, no charges have been lodged against the navigator. An AV-rated attorney and a Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist, Mr. Getz was Trial Counsel in the Western Tax Service matter in the Central District, the longest jury trial in the Western states during the past year in a tax fraud case.
