Mr. Jobson was born in San Francisco, California on June 13, 1946. He attended the University of Santa Clara where he received a B.A. with honors in Economics in 1968. He attended Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley where he earned his J.D. in 1971. He was admitted to the California bar in 1972. Mr. Jobson has received training from the Northern California Mediation Center: Divorce Mediation and Conflict Resolution Training in 1995, Advanced Mediation Seminars in 1996, and served as Judge Pro Tem in Family Law Departments of Alameda and Contra Costa County Superior Courts, and as a Special Master.Mr. Jobson's association memberships include the Alameda County Bar Association where he has served as Chairman of the Family Law Section and as a member of the Board of Directors; Eastern Alameda County Bar Association where he served as Chairman of the Family Law Section; Contra Costa County Bar Association where he is a member of the Family Law Section; and the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is a Certified Specialist, Family Law with The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Jobson is a past president of the Rotary Club of Pleasanton North, and is a member of the St. Francis Yacht Club.Mr. Jobson practices exclusively in the area of Family Law litigation, mediation and private judging.
