Charles H. DeLacey has been certified as a Family Law Specialist by the California State Bar's Board of Legal Specialization. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon in 1990 and received his law degree from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College in 1994. He is admitted to practice law in California (1996), Oregon (1994), the U.S. Northern District Court of California and the U.S. District Court for the State of Oregon. Charles has successfully resolved hundreds of complex cases for individual and business clients by way of mediations, arbitrations, court trials and jury trials. While Charles' practice is now exclusively dedicated to family law litigation, his corporate law, commercial law and complex civil litigation background leaves him particularly well qualified to represent clients in cases involving the valuation and division of substantial business ownership interests, private equity holdings, venture capital investments and other sophisticated financial investments.Charles frequently provides pro bono services through the Bar Association of San Francisco's Volunteer Legal Services Program, and serves on the board of directors of Fosterclub.org, a non-profit corporation providing community support to foster children and foster parents and funded primarily by the Casey Family Programs foundation.Charles is an active member of the Family Law Sections of the State Bar of California, the Oregon State Bar, the American Bar Association, the San Francisco County Bar Association and the Marin Bar Association.
