Mr. Geffon is a California State Bar Certified Specialist in criminal law. After graduating magna cum laude from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1995, he began his career at the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. In addition to trying many serious felony cases, his time at the Public Defender’s Office including assignments in the office’s research department, where he drafted and argued motions of all kinds. In 2001, Mr. Geffon began his own practice, eventually forming Geffon & Isger. AV rated and included in Martindale-Hubbell’s list of pre-eminent lawyers, Mr. Geffon represents individuals accused of homicide, serious felonies, and misdemeanors. In addition to his practice, Mr. Geffon has been on the adjunct faculty of Santa Clara University School of Law, where he has taught Criminal Procedure, Trial Team and Advanced Trial Techniques.
