Jacques LeBoeuf is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in appellate law, holds a Martindale-Hubbell "AV" rating, and has been selected for inclusion in Northern California Super Lawyers every year since 2005. He’s represented clients in the California Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit, and six of the eight state courts of appeal. Originally from Maine, he attended Groton School, Brown University, and Northwestern University School of Law, where he received several academic honors and was admitted to the Order of the Coif. He clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, has chaired the Alameda County appellate practice section, is a fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America, and teaches legal writing at Berkeley.
