James M. Byrne's practice covers both family and employment-based cases in both immigrant and nonimmigrant matters, removal, and litigation case preparation. His experience includes serving as plaintiffs' attorney in Wauchope v. U.S. Department of State, 985 F.2d 1407, in which the decision granted U.S. citizenship to foreign-born children whose mothers were citizens, which subsequently made law in the Immigration Act of 1994. He is a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. His memberships include the State Bar of California and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
