Mr. Staley was born in Sidney, Ohio on September 26, 1943.  Mr. Staley attended California State University at Fresno where he received a B.A. in 1965. He then attended Hastings College of Law, University of California where he earned his J.D. in 1972. He was admitted to bar in 1972 in California.Mr. Staley held positions on the Livermore City Council, 1975-1982. He is a recipient of the California Association of Certified Family Specialists, 4th Annual Hall of Fame Award in 1994. He is listed in: Who's Who in California; Who's Who in American Law, was Director of Photomatrix Corp. (NASDAQ-PHRX) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Staley's association memberships include the Alameda County and American Bar Associations; California Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, of which he was a Founding Member in 1980 and President in 1989. He is a Certified Specialist, Family Law with The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.He was prevailing counsel establishing copyright as community property (IRMO Worth, 195 Cal. App. 3d 768). Mr. Staley practices exclusively in the area of Family Law litigation.
