Profile

Khaldoun A. Baghdadi is a member of Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger, a premier, San Francisco-based law firm dedicated to representing victims of negligence and wrongdoing in California, and other U.S. jurisdictions. During his career at Walkup, Khaldoun has tried cases throughout California, including defective product lawsuits, insurance disputes, medical negligence claims and public entity liability suits. In 2009, Khaldoun was named a Northern California Super Lawyers Rising Star, a distinction that honors practicing attorneys under the age of 40. Only 2.5 percent of the lawyers practicing in the state are selected for this recognition. Khaldoun also holds an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest rating an attorney can achieve for his or her ethics and standards of practice.

Khaldoun is a graduate of University of California Hastings College of the Law and serves an adjunct professor at both Hastings and the University of California Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law. He has also been a speaker or panelist for various professional organizations on the topics of product liability, trial preparation and discovery, and federal pre-emption of consumer rights.

*AV Preeminent and BV Distinguished are certification marks of Reed Elsevier Properties Inc., used in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies. Martindale-Hubbell is the facilitator of a peer review rating process. Ratings reflect the anonymous opinions of members of the bar and the judiciary. Martindale-Hubbell peer review ratings fall into two categories: legal ability and general ethical standards.
