Luke Ellis is a partner at GJEL Accident Attorneys, a highly regarded personal injury law firm with a 40-year and more than $600 million track record of success on behalf of injured plaintiffs in Northern California.

Luke is a past vice president of both the California Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) and the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC). He has also tried numerous personal injury cases before judges and juries over the course of his career. He has also written and lectured widely in the field of trial practice, and he has chaired numerous educational seminars in all fields of litigation. Luke's pro bono commitments include teaching a mock trial course at Miramonte High School in Orinda, where his teams have won the county championship six out of the last seven years.

Luke received his law degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Law, Boalt Hall, in 1975. He holds an AV Preeminent* rating through Martindale-Hubbell. He is also a past and current selection for the Northern California Super Lawyers listings and for the Best Lawyers in America publication. Luke has one of the largest personal injury jury trial verdicts on record in Alameda County, and he has the largest wrongful death recovery by either settlement or verdict in Contra Costa County.
