Marlene P. Getchell has practiced in the field of probate, trust, conservatorships, and estate planning for over 30 years, and has been a certified specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law for 15 years. She specializes in the preparation of estate plans, probate and trust administration, conservatorships, and trust and estate litigation. Her litigation experience includes contested matters pertaining to will and trust contests, substituted judgment actions, fiduciary accountings, and actions for breach of fiduciary duty. A native of San Francisco, she has practiced in Marin County since 1994. Marlene is a Past President of the Marin County Bar Association, is a recipient of the Wiley Manual Award for providing pro bono legal services in Marin County, and runs a certified green business.
