Matthew P. Guichard is a nationally recognized trial attorney, and the founding member of the law firm of Guichard, Teng & Portello. His practice focuses on general and commercial litigation, business transactions, alternative dispute resolution and international law. Matt is regularly selected by clients to handle complex cases at trial after other law firms have litigated those matters up to trial, and is often selected by his peers to mediate difficult matters. Matt authors the popular "Civil Jury Verdicts" column in the Contra Costa Lawyer Magazine and is a member of its Editorial Board. He is a Hearing Officer in Contra Costa County for Coroner's Inquests. He was a regular lecturer for the State Bar and the University of California CEB Program.
