After obtaining his Juris Doctorate at the University of Oregon School of Law in 1989, Mr. LeClerc was admitted to the Oregon Bar in 1989 and the California Bar in 1991. He is certified as a Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization and now limits his practice to California. Mr. LeClerc's civil and administrative litigation practice emphasizes the defense of employers against claims for workers' compensation, wages and penalties, discrimination (FEHA), EDD and OSHA. In addition, he assists employers in developing employee handbooks, leave policies (FMLA/CFRA), personnel practices and procedures and drug testing policies. He also serves as an arbitrator in WCAB proceedings.Mr. LeClerc also represents select public employees and safety personnel in claims for workers' compensation, PERS and Social Security Disability.  Mr. LeClerc creates and presents training seminars to employers and claims professionals covering a variety of topics, including customized seminars addressing specific client needs. Mr. LeClerc is a certified provider of continuing education by the California Department of Insurance.Mr. LeClerc lives in Redding, CA, with his wife and three daughters. In addition to practicing law, he enjoys skiing, competition tennis and sharing meals with family and friends.
