Nancy Leavitt Fineman, a partner at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, is known for her tenacity in the courtroom and her ability to move cases efficiently to successful resolution. For over 20 years, she has represented plaintiffs and defendants in trials, appeals, and arbitrations, obtaining substantial judgments and settlements. She represents clients as diverse as Chijioke Onyenegecha, for whom she obtained a release from his collegiate football Letter of Intent, and public and private entities, for whom she is suing natural gas companies for price manipulation. Fineman is also active in the legal community, currently serving as a Director of the San Mateo County Bar Association, as well as holding other legal and community positions. She received both her undergraduate and law degrees from UC Berkeley.
