Profile

I have been a trial lawyer for the past 40 years.  I have tried over 30 cases to jury verdict.  I have settled or tried at least 10 cases in excess of $1 million.  I teach trial practice at annual seminars at Stanford and University of San Francisco law schools, and have been doing so since 2000.  I was President of the State Bar of California 1987-1988.  I served on the Commission on Judicial Performance in 1989.  I am a Past President of the San Mateo Bar Association, the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers and the Italian American Bar Association.  I have lectured at McGeorge Law School, Santa Clara Law School , University of San Diego Law School and San Francisco Law School on legal ethics and professional responsibility. I have written several articles on legal ethics for law related publications. I am the past President of  San Francisco Law School.  I am a member of the Alliant International University Board of Trustees.
