Mr. Goodman is Certified by the State Bar of California as a Specialist in Criminal Law. His practice has been devoted to criminal defense since 1976, and during that time he has represented clients charged in state and federal court with crimes ranging from driving under the influence to murder. He regularly appeared as a commentator on Court TV during the trial of Scott Petersen and represented the lead defendant in a federal prosecution involving the largest importation of heroin in United States history. Recently, his practice has focused on parallel proceedings involving simultaneous criminal, civil and administrative actions and the defense of persons charged with mortgage and immigration fraud, drug trafficking and racketeering conspiracies.
