Profile

With offices in Oakland, Concord, Hayward, and Fremont, Rick Baskin represents plaintiffs in major personal injury and wrongful death claims. He has obtained multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements. Rick lectures extensively and authored a two-volume manual on premises liability. He is past President of the Alameda/Contra Costa Trial Lawyers Association and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He served for ten years on the board of the Consumer Attorneys of California and for three years as a Director of the Alameda County Bar Association, where he chaired the Trial Practice Section. Rick is also a professional musician with several recordings to his credit.
