Rolf Kruger is certified by the State Bar of California as a legal specialist in the area of family law and is a named partner of the firm. Because of the firm's commitment to excellence, the firm has been awarded the highest rating available to lawyers: Martindale-Hubbell-AV-Pre-eminent Status. In 2009, the Board of Governors of the State Bar of California appointed him to the State Bar Family Law Advisory Commission. A litigation attorney in complex financial and custody matters, Mr. Kruger is also an experienced consulting attorney for parties in mediation and is trained in the area of collaborative law. Mr. Kruger has specialized in high-asset cases, representing venture capitalists, business owners, CEOs and other executives of domestic and international companies, along with their respective spouses. Mr. Kruger’s proactive approach is to seek solutions that add value not only to the client but also to the community estate and the client’s business interests long term. A member of the State Bar of California, Mr. Kruger also belongs to the Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, and Palo Alto Bar Associations and serves regularly as a judge pro tem for the Santa Clara County Superior Court. He also serves on the Santa Clara County Family Law Section Legislative Committee. Mr. Kruger graduated from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon in 1994, earning High Honors in multiple courses. While attending law school, he also earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the university's Center for Dispute Resolution at the College of Law, rated among the top five programs of its kind in the country by U.S. News and World Report. Mr. Kruger received his Bachelor of Science in finance in commerce from Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business. While attending SCU, he was recognized by the international honor society Beta Gamma Sigma. He was president of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity during law school and chaired the Theta Chi Fraternity Alumni Committee at Santa Clara University. His interests include cooking with his family, boating, water skiing, snow skiing/boarding, scuba diving, and traveling.
