A frequent presenter, speaker, and panelist, Mr. Souza regularly addresses professional groups, corporate executives, and assemblies on an array of employment-related topics, including "Employment Privacy," "Sexual Harassment," and "Employment Litigation Practices." He has co-authored a series of articles on Employment Litigation that have appeared in the University of California Civil Litigation Reporter and he serves as a consultant to CEB's Wrongful Employment Termination Practices Treatise. He authored the Workplace Privacy Chapter of the CEBi2 Volume of Privacy Compliance & Litigation Text, released in 2007. Mr. Souza is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a Founding Member of a chapter of the American Inns of Court, an organization of lawyers and judges dedicated to civility and ethics in the practice of law. He is also a member of the American Employment Law Council and the Employment Law Section of the State Bar of California. A native of the Bay Area, Mr. Souza graduated with honors (both academic and athletic) from Washington State University in 1969, and earned his J.D., cum laude, from Santa Clara University in 1974.
