Tim Hale specializes in litigating trade secret, copyright, patent, and technology-related disputes in state and federal courts, and as well has an active intellectual property and business law consultation practice. Mr. Hale has practiced in Silicon Valley since 1984, having started at what was then Fenwick, Davis & West, and has established a reputation as a zealous advocate in a number of complex and visible cases involving intellectual property. Additionally, with extensive experience in contracts, copyright and trademark registration, and technology licensing, Mr. Hale has an active transactional and technology licensing practice. Mr. Hale graduated from Stanford Law School in 1984 in the top ten in his class and holds a B.A. from Dartmouth as well as an M.A. from Stanford University in psychology.
