Brian P. Funk, with 25 years of experience, can handle the most difficult criminal cases, from multidefendant conspiracies in federal court to the most difficult double homicide cases in state court. Mr. Funk was admitted to both the California and Federal District Courts in December 1983. He was then admitted to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1991. Moving up, he was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court in February 1993. He has served as Vice-President of the San Diego County Bar Association (2007) after being elected a Director for 2005-2007. He has also served as treasurer, secretary, and President of the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar Association. He has been honored to be named on the San Diego Super Lawyers list in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.
