Attorney Michele Sacks Lowenstein is a principal with the San Diego, California, firm Lowenstein Brown, A Professional Law Corporation. Ms. Lowenstein has been a practicing attorney for more than 30 years and is certified by the California Bar as a family law specialist. In the past seven years she has been named as one of the top attorneys in San Diego County five times by the San Diego Daily Transcript. She is the chairperson of the family law section for the San Diego County Bar Association.

Ms. Lowenstein has had extensive experience practicing before the Superior Court as well as the Court of Appeal, representing parties in eight published decisions. Since 1992, Ms. Lowenstein has served as a settlement conference judge and judge pro tem for the San Diego County Family Law Court and Small Claims Court. She has been featured on numerous radio shows, including the Power Women Magazine radio show and the KNX radio, discussing issues such as divorce, collaborative divorce and the impact of the economy on divorce.

Ms. Lowenstein has lectured extensively on the subject of family law to fellow attorneys, other professionals and the general public. Martindale-Hubbell recognizes Ms. Lowenstein as an AV* rated attorney, the highest such rating available to any lawyer.
