Ward Clay is a leading criminal defense attorney with over 22 years of experience. Previously, he served as a criminal prosecutor for the San Diego District Attorney's Office and City Attorney's Office. Mr. Clay is State Bar Certified as a Specialist in Criminal Law. Mr. Clay has tried in excess of 75 criminal jury trials. Mr. Clay has argued before the California Supreme Court, Courts of Appeal, and two federal circuits, resulting in five published opinions. Mr. Clay also provides pro bono work for the University of Hawaii's innocence project. Mr. Clay graduated with honors from UCLA and Loyola Law School.
