LYS&R attorneys led the transaction that included the acquisition of an existing foreign sales company and the structuring of approximately $1 billion in financing for the newly formed company. “What made this deal unique and complex was that there were two significant deals taking place simultaneously, one to create the company and the other to raise financing for the production of ten to twelve films annually,” says Josh Grode, Summit Entertainment’s attorney and LYS&R partner.
