One recent custody case involved two female partners who ended their long-term relationship, during which one of the partners adopted a child from a different country. The non-adoptive parent sought parental rights, and Meyer, Olson & Lowy assisted by seeking presumed parent status for the non-adoptive parent.

Much of the firm’s work focuses on challenging family law cases unique to a small percentage of the population, such as move-away cases, substance abuse issues, parental alienation, high-asset marital dissolutions and complex business appraisal cases.
