A DECADE OF EXCELLENCE

For the past decade, the firm’s Los Angeles office has focused on toxic tort litigation including defense of products liability personal injury and wrongful death, class actions, mass tort litigation and products liability claims arising from soil and groundwater contamination for clients in the petroleum, chemical, and plastics manufacturing industries; construction; and architectural and engineering firms. The office also has a nationally recognized ERISA, labor and employment practice that handles employee benefits planning and disputes, executive compensation, discrimination and wrongful termination litigation and union disputes.

EXPANSION AND GROWTH

In 2006, Steptoe opened a second California office in Century City. The Century City attorneys litigate across a broad range of matters and have formed a dynamic corporate group focused on the technology, apparel, entertainment, financial services and real estate industries. Their practice includes restructuring and insolvency, intellectual property, ERISA, labor and employment, real estate litigation, transactions and finance, sub-prime lending disputes and tax.

The firm continues to attract premier professionals and now has 40 attorneys across both the downtown and Century City offices, solidifying its presence in the Southern California market.
