Ben M. Davidson specializes in representing and defending clients in litigation and trials involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement disputes. In close to two decades in the field of intellectual property law, he has represented Fortune 500 corporations such as Mercedes Benz USA, Caterpillar Inc., Procter & Gamble, and a major motion picture company, as well as celebrities and artists including Sean Connery involved in copyright and idea submission litigation. Before forming his own entrepreneurial law firm, he was a partner in the Los Angeles offices of the national law firm, Howrey LLP, where he worked for 14 years as a successful IP and business litigator. An electrical engineer by training, Davidson served as a patent examiner with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office in Washington D.C. for four years where he examined applications involving power regulation and power conversion technology. Mr. Davidson also prepares and prosecutes patent and trademark applications as well as petitions for patent reexaminations with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
