Profile

Bruce Kaufman is a former prosecutor and has had a criminal defense practice for more than 40 years. He is a past President of the San Fernando Valley Criminal Bar Association and prior member of the Board of Directors of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. Bruce is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell. He is well known by the prosecution and the bench as a person dedicated to the representation of his client. Bruce recently represented a young woman charged with burglary based upon a fingerprint left at the crime scene. The LAPD misidentified her from a print comparison. Through diligent investigation and hard work, he was able to obtain a dismissal of the charge. This case resulted in a major investigation of the LAPD for flagrant misidentification practices.
