Charles D. Naylor, an AV rated attorney, has served the waterfront communities of the San Pedro/Los Angeles and Long Beach Harbor area since 1974.  In both state and federal courts, his practice has focused on representing injured longshore workers, seamen, fishermen, tug and barge crewmen and other maritime workers.  In addition, Mr. Naylor has an active practice representing passengers injured on cruise ships.  Over the years he has successfully settled or tried many hundreds of cases arising from injuries occurring locally and around the world. Mr. Naylor enjoys a national reputation among his peers for his strict adherence to the highest standards of ethics, the quality of his work, and successful prosecution of injury cases.  In 2007 he obtained a verdict of more than $55 million against DaimlerChrysler for the family of a deceased longshoreman and he recently reached a settlement agreement of $3,200,000 for an injured longshore woman.  He was a 2007 CAALA finalist for California Consumer Attorney of the Year and a 2008 California Lawyer magazine CLAY Award recipient. Mr. Naylor is a member of the Maritime Law Association of the U.S., the American Association for Justice; Admiralty Section, and is a Bencher member of the Joseph A. Ball/Clarence S. Hunt Inn of Court.
