John J. Gilligan, CFLS, is a principal and managing partner of Gilligan Law Corporation based in Long Beach, California. Mr. Gilligan's practice is concentrated in family law and all related family issues. Mr. Gilligan is certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a family law specialist, which is essentially an acknowledgement of his extensive experience and legal ability in this particular area of the law. His practice also includes probate litigation and all areas of estate planning.
For more than 25 years, Mr. Gilligan has served as judge pro tem in the Superior Court. He is certified to serve as a Superior Court mediator, as a court appointed minor's counsel, and has served in leadership roles on various bar associations.
