Profile

John Leo Wagner has over 20 years of ADR experience, successfully completing thousands of mediations and arbitrations from coast to coast. He became a U.S. Magistrate Judge at age 31 and pioneered early court-annexed settlement programs. Thereafter, he headed Irell & Manella's ADR practice group and now works as an ADR neutral through Judicate West, the American Arbitration Association, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, and the CPR Institute. A Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators and of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators, he is known for his tenacity and creativity, and for deploying tactics that produce results for sophisticated lawyers and their clients.
