Attorney Kelly C. Quinn has special expertise in researching and drafting motions, writs and appeals. She has successfully overturned several convictions, and her motion practice has resulted in numerous serious felony cases being dismissed. Ms. Quinn is certified by the California State Bar as an Appeals Specialist with the firm Law Offices of Mark J. Werksman in Los Angeles, California.
A former substitute special education teacher, Ms. Quinn represents students with disabilities in all stages of IEP proceedings and is very active in ensuring each child is receiving all protections available under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Ms. Quinn also represents students in school discipline hearings, including suspension and expulsion hearings.
A graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law, Ms. Quinn was formerly employed by outside counsel for the National Rifle Association (NRA) and California Rifle and Pistol Association (CPRA), which has given her an advantage in representing gun owners in federal and state cases.
