Attorney Kippy L. Wroten is the founder and shareholder of Wroten & Associates in Irvine, California. An experienced litigator, she represents health care providers, independent long-term care facilities, ancillary service providers, corporate enterprises and individual executives in complex matters of health care liability and class action claims of elder abuse, fraud and corporate unfair business practices.

Ms. Wroten began her career as a deputy district attorney for Orange County. She went on to work as a litigator for a prestigious health care defense firm in 1990, and eventually became a shareholder and leader of the firm's long term care practice area. In 2006, she founded Wroten & Associates to better meet her clients' needs and the growing demands of the long-term care defense industry.

Among her representative cases, Ms. Wroten has been recognized for her skilled trial defense in Perlin v. Fountain View Management, Inc., 163 Cal. App. 4th 656 (2008), Carehouse Convalescent Hospital v. Superior Court, 143 Cal. App. 4th 1558 (2006) and Lavender v. Skilled Healthcare Group, Inc., et al. She is also a noted author and lecturer on the topic of health care liability and long-term care issues.

Ms. Wroten obtained her law degree from Western State University College of Law. As an AV-rated* attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, she has also been recognized in the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers.
