Leonard L. Gumport does bankruptcy and business litigation and investigations. Besides serving as counsel to trustees, public entities, and creditors, he has served as a bankruptcy trustee, SIPC trustee, examiner, and provisional director. He received his B.A. from Yale and his J.D. from Columbia Law School. He clerked for U.S. District Judge Gus J. Solomon (D‑OR). He was an associate and then a partner at the law firm originally named Beardsley, Hufstedler & Kemble. In 1995, Mr. Gumport co‑founded the law firm now known as Gumport | Mastan. He is admitted to practice in Alaska, California, Washington, D.C., and New York. He is a member of the panels of mediators for the federal district and bankruptcy courts in the Central District of California.
