Ms. Barnett is certified as an Elder Law Attorney through the National Elder Law Foundation since 2002.  Her practice is a combination of conservatorships, probate, trust administration and probate with emphasis on issues in the public benefits arena including Special Needs Trusts.  Ms. Barnett co-authored a Chapter of the CEB book on Special Needs Trust. Prior to her law career, she had fifteen years experience as a Geriatric Social Worker which provides a unique combination of skills required to successfully handle the multiple issues presented in her practice.
