Lisa Kantor, a University of Virginia law graduate, has been practicing law for over thirty years. Recently, Ms. Kantor has become the country’s premier advocate for patients with eating disorders who have been denied benefits by their health insurance carrier. Ms. Kantor has obtained several key victories for clients with eating disorders, including cases that have changed the law in California and the 9^th Circuit. She is currently working with eating disorder professionals and facilities to determine what litigation, regulatory, and legislative actions to take in order to maximize the insurance coverage for eating disorders.

Ms. Kantor has been a featured speaker for the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals and local eating disorder organizations.
