Profile

Richard Knickerbocker obtained his B.A. from UCLA in Psychology, and his J.D. and Master of Laws from USC. After passing the California Bar, he ultimately became Torrance's Senior Deputy City Attorney and chief of Civil Litigation, and later the City Attorney of Santa Monica. He taught law at community colleges, law schools and continuing education classes for the Bar, and has been successful both in the trial and appellate courts. He is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate, by the National Board of Trial Advocates, and a Certified Appellate Specialist by the State Bar of California.
