Bob Fairbank began his legal career at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher (1977-1996), where he had extensive trial experience in bet-the-company cases. In 1995, the Los Angeles Business Journal named Bob one of the top 100 business attorneys. Since co-founding Fairbank & Vincent, Bob has continued to represent entities and individuals in major business litigation. He has been independent counsel to a large institutional plaintiff in the Enron, WorldCom, Dynegy, and AOL securities lawsuits, and defense counsel for officers of New Century, IndyMac, Homestore, and Tenet. Bob is the co-author of the Rutter Group’s California Practice Guide – Civil Trials and Evidence and has been an adjunct professor at the Stanford and USC Law and Business Schools, teaching a seminar, Corporate Fraud.
